Invitation for the launch of the AidWatch Report 2018 - Get the latest figures on EU Aid View it in your browser 2 October 2018 CONCORD AidWatch 2018  Invitation to Launch Event - 17 October   The 2018 CONCORD AidWatch Report will be launched on 17 October. Do not miss this key publication and join our launch event in Brussels! Since 2005, CONCORD AidWatch monitors and makes recommendations on the quality and quantity of aid provided by the European Union Member States and the European Commission. What did aid spendings look like in 2017? Did we advance towards the 0.7% GNI objective and the Leave No One Behind principle?  For the first time since 2012, EU Official Development Assistance (ODA) has decreased by almost 4% from last year. In the framework of the future EU Budget (MFF), which will probably re-shape the entire financing landscape of EU development aid, how will this impact the Least Developed Countries? By focusing on the targets of ODA, the discussion will analyse the EU’s shift in political priorities and examine what will happen in the coming years, such as the last years of the current MFF and the modernisation of aid definition by the OECD DAC.
